Welcome!

Hi, I’m Jasmine Townsend, LCSW/LISW-CP — therapist, coach, and women’s wellness advocate dedicated to helping women feel grounded, whole, and empowered in their daily lives. My work centers around supporting women who are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-doubt, chronic stress, and women’s health challenges such as PMDD, endometriosis, PCOS, and postpartum changes. Whether you’re seeking therapy, coaching, or a blend of mind-body wellness strategies, my goal is to help you strengthen your emotional resilience, reconnect with your inner wisdom, and create a life that feels aligned, spacious, and deeply yours.

Why I Do This Work

My passion for mental wellness comes from personal experience. I’ve faced anxiety, depression, and the emotional toll of endometriosis and PMDD, and I know how frustrating it can be to feel unheard, exhausted, and uncertain about the future. I also know what it takes to reclaim your power, set boundaries, and prioritize self-care. My experiences have fueled my mission to help other women take control of their mental and emotional well-being.

My Background & Approach

With more than 11 years of experience in mental health, coaching, and advocacy, I’ve supported:

  • Women navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, and emotional overwhelm

  • Individuals experiencing PMDD, PCOS, endometriosis, postpartum depression, and hormonal imbalances

  • Women moving through transitions, grief, identity shifts, or relationship challenges

  • Families and mothers learning to advocate for children with special needs

  • Individuals with autism and developmental delays who are developing essential life and emotional skills

I hold a Master’s in Social Work from UNC–Charlotte and a Bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Psychology from Winston-Salem State University.

My approach is holistic, integrative, and client-centered.

I blend:

  • Talk therapy to explore patterns, beliefs, emotions, and your inner world

  • Somatic and mindfulness practices to help regulate the nervous system and reconnect to the body

  • Parts work (IFS-inspired) to understand and integrate the different parts of you

  • CBT & ACT for practical tools that support clarity, emotional flexibility, and grounded decision-making

  • Mind-body wellness & coaching to help you create sustainable shifts in your habits, boundaries, and daily life
